Purpose: The Dental Assisting program prepares students for employment as chairside dental assistants. The course is designed, and subject areas selected in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines, and is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. The final third of the course takes place in a clinical setting, where the student works as a practicing dental assistant in a Puget Sound area dental practice/clinic.
