Bates welcomes community to annual Open House

The event showcases career programs through tours, information fair and activities   TACOMA, Wash. - Bates Technical College welcomes the community to its annual Open House on Thursday, April 18, 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at the college's South Campus, 2201 S. 78th St., in Tacoma.  

The Open House features an information fair, with representatives from student services, financial aid, Technical High School and Running Start, the testing center, and the Business and Management Training Center.  

During the event, attendees can participate in interactive, hands-on activities with several career education programs, like Dental Assisting, Biomedical Service Technician: Clinical Engineering, Biomedical Lab Technician, Fire Service, and programs within the engineering, information technology and manufacturing clusters.
