Digital Media

From special effects creation to end credits production, and everything in between, digital media has application to a variety positions within the film, television, video, web and creative services industries. Though not necessary for entrance to this program, high school elective classes in art, commercial photography, film and videotape can provide a useful foundation upon which to build your digital media skills.

Students in our digital media program prepare to develop, manage, restructure, edit and redirect digital media content, images, graphics, sound, animation and other multi-media products for broadcast, film, or web-based application platforms. Check out what students have to say!

Graduates may obtain positions such as creative services editors, assistant news editors, digital video editors, digital audio editors, graphic editors, and digital media specialists. This program also provides a supplemental training opportunity for people previously or currently employed in these occupations.
