Disability Awareness Day 2008
Bates Technical College invites you to join us as we celebrate the 4th Annual Disability Awareness Day, October 14, 2008, from 9 to 11am. This year's theme is "Not Just Ramps." The two-person interactive presentation is designed to help expand the audience's understanding of various issues surrounding individuals with disabilities and to increase the awareness of the challenges experienced by people with disabilities.

Key Foundation Thank You
The Diversity Center and Bates Technical College want to thank Key Foundation for their ongoing sponsorship! For the third consecutive year the Key Foundation, a foundation funded by KeyBank, has generously offered their financial support for diversity work at Bates Technical College. The 2008-2009 grant award of $10,600 will permit the Diversity Center to enhance cultural event programming, continue the “diversity artwork on campus” program, create a multimedia room in the center’s conference room, and establish a diversity presence at South Campus.
