Financial aid is available for eligible students. Students and their families must qualify to receive different types of financial assistance, but must demonstrate financial need to be eligible for federal assistance.

Financial aid and Worker Retraining is intended to add to, not replace, a person's resources. If combined resources are not sufficient to cover expenses, you may be eligible for funding in the form of grants, scholarships (Bates Foundation Scholarships), low interest loans or employment.

WORKSOURCE ORIENTATIONS
BEING HELD NEAR DOWNTOWN CAMPUS

WorkSource will be conducting on-campus orientations to determine eligibility for tuition assistance for students. WorkSource currently funds up to $8,000 per person in tuition, books, tools, and fees for eligible students. They are looking for dislocated workers, displaced homemakers, and low income adults. This is money that does not have to be repaid! However, funds are extremely limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis to those who qualify.

No appointment necessary. Don’t miss this opportunity to see if you qualify for funding. Orientations are held at the WorkSource office at 1305 Tacoma Avenue S. on Mondays and Fridays at 9 a.m.
