This program allows students to choose one of three major pathways: Associate of Technology degree, Certificate of Competency, or Certificate of Training. In these pathways, students prepare for employment in the diesel and heavy equipment industry, diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding components of diesel-powered vehicles in a shop setting. Career paths include diesel and heavy duty apprentice technician, on/off highway truck technician, construction equipment technician, hydraulics technician, marine technician, material handling equipment technician, utility technician, and agricultural equipment technician. Local industry training partnerships enhance the program. Customized training and scholarships are available.
