Students prepare for careers in areas including sales, advertising, merchandising, customer service, market research, business and management, and public relations. Curriculum also provides extended learning for persons previously or currently employed in these professions.
Business activities are an integral part of the program. There is a concentrated effort to provide work-based learning experiences which provide students the opportunity to work directly under the guidance of a Puget Sound business. Major projects allow students the opportunity to apply competencies such as preparing formal business plans, performing research studies, and developing advertising campaigns.
