The Electronics Technician program is an option within the Advanced Technologies & Computer Sciences department. Completion of this short program serves two purposes: students prepare to become entry-level electronics technicians and learn to assemble, install, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic equipment; and requirements are fulfilled to continue into any of three primary programs within Advanced Technologies
Students prepare for associate-level Certified Electronics Technician (CET) exams as issued through the International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians (ISCET). A successful Associate CET is eligible to receive a certificate valid for four years andto join ISCET. |
