Students prepare for careers including counter sales, accessories sales, and parts managers in the automotive parts merchandising and marketing industry, and also for employment as warehouse / distribution specialists and inventory and stock specialists.
Training includes material handling and forklift operations in a warehousing environment, and in an actual vehicle parts and accessories store environment, giving students practical experience with inventory merchandise, wholesale and retail customers, ordering and stocking when working with vehicle parts vendors.
The occupational base includes the commercial trucking industry, diesel repair facilities, heavy equipment, marine, and all personal vehicles, including sports utility vehicles and light trucks.
