At Bates, students in the Hearing Instrument Technology program operate the Hearing Clinic. Work is done by students who are supervised by the instructor. We will happily perform hearing tests, sell hearing aids, clean and check hearing aids, troubleshoot hearing aid problems, provide various types of earmolds, or simply educate. There is no pressure to buy.
For best care, please provide any previous hearing records. As Bates is a learning environment, expect to spend more time in the assessment process. Because this is a learning environment, you can be assured that any problem will be comprehensively evaluated and all options and findings will be shared with you.
At Bates, we pride ourselves in using the latest technologies for testing and evaluation. Students learn from a variety of industry experts and keep on top of newest develops in the field. Students are learning while performing the exam, we ask you to have patience.
