Students prepare for careers in private or public businesses in positions such as accounting technicians, full charge bookkeepers, accounts payable clerks, accounts receivable clerks, payroll clerks; or provides extended learning for persons previously or currently employed in these professions.
Students receive training in current computerized applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Quickbooks. They have the opportunity to join the Credit Manager Association and the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
