Students prepare for careers as chairside dental assistants, dental office managers, and infection control specialists. The program is designed according to American Dental Association guidelines and is accredited by the Commission of Dental Accreditation.
Upon completion of the program, students may sit for the Dental Assisting National board examination to earn nationally recognized credentials as a certified dental assistant. A high school diploma or GED is required for entry into this program. Note: Students are eligible to take the Dental Assisting National board examination after completing industryspecific competencies.
