The demand for 3D Sound is now grabbing the attends of both users and developers. Costs for gaming projects are now being dedicated up to 40% of the budget, time and manpower. (source). Instructor Bio

Willie Kelley has been the Audio Sound Technology faculty since coming to Bates in 1994. He brought with him a wealth of industry experience, having worked at KOHU AM/FM in Hermiston, Oregon and later, at KGY AM/FM in Olympia, Washington where he worked for 20 years as Director of Production and Program Director. 

Kelley is a graduate of Bates’ Radio Broadcast Technicians program and has achieved the Society of Broadcast Engineers’ Certified Broadcast Technologist endorsement.  In addition to his work at Bates Technical College, he freelances as an audio consultant and provides film restoration.
