 To address labor shortages in the machinist industry, Bates Technical College optained a high-demand grant to add a full-time Swing Shift Machinist program beginning with the Fall 2008 Quarter. The new swing shift is held Monday through Friday from 1:30 to 8:00 pm, at Bates’ downtown campus.
