Bates Technical College offers a variety of professional training workshops for students interested in working in the field of childbirth.  Each training workshop is accredited by an international certifying body, and completion of the workshop will serve as one of the components necessary to obtain international certification in that chosen career. Facilitating trainers are considered industry experts and have extensive training in their specific field as well as in adult teaching principles. 

Currently Bates offers 3 different childbirth career programs. All trainings complement each other, so we encourage students to cross-train in all facets of the childbirth field. Not only with this give the student more in depth knowledge, but also create more marketability for her skills.
