World Trade Center—Tacoma
The foremost promoter of international business and trade in the Northwestern United States. Affiliated with over 330 World Trade Centers in more than 100 countries, the World Trade Center Tacoma provides incomparable resources and services that help individuals and organizations do business globally. Membership in the WTCTA opens the door to more than 500,000 companies and individuals engaged in international trade.

City of Tacoma’s Sister Cities

Women of Vision
Women of Vision is a private, non-profit 501 ©3 organization established in 1988 by a group of women community leaders in Tacoma, Washington. Our purpose is to create opportunities to effect change for the betterment of women of all nationalities through the development, support and promotion of women as leaders and through international and intercultural communication among women. Our mission is to provide encouragement and opportunities for women to improve their status and that of their families.

Asia Pacific Cultural Center
The Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) represents 47 countries and cultures of the Asian Pacific region. It offers programs and services that honor the distinct artistry, business protocols, history and social practices of each country. We seek to be a resource for all who want to learn about the Asian Pacific region.

Small Business Administration
The Small Business Administration can direct you to government and non-government business resources, provide advice on potential loan sources, and offers free business counseling services.

SCORE
The SCORE Association (Service Corps of Retired Executives), founded in 1964, is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Small Business Development Center
SBDCs deliver training and technical assistance to small business owners that want to improve or expand their current operations. Business Development Specialists provide one-on-one counseling to small business owners at no charge. Specialists advise clients on financial, marketing, production, organizational, engineering and technical issues, as well as assisting with feasibility studies.

Export Assistance Center
The U.S. Export Assistance Center consolidates the export promotion and finance services of the Commercial Service of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, the Export Finance Assistance Center of Washington and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
