Bates Technical College helps students realize their potential for growth and success through innovative instruction in a nurturing, diverse environment. Students achieve their career and personal goals, strengthening the region's social and economic vibrancy. Strong local and global partnerships with business, industry, labor and the public make the College a respected contributor to community vitality.
College Goals The Board of Trustees, faculty, administration and staff of Bates Technical College will:
- deliver exemplary competency-based education that meets the diverse needs of students and the community.
- foster a positive, respectful environment that recognizes and honors our diverse college community.
- deliver caring, comprehensive support services.
- build fiscal integrity through a collaborative, transparent, financial planning process focused on students.
- provide physical resources that facilitate the success of the college community.
- advance the institution through coordinated outreach and resource development.
- establish community partnerships that contribute to the region's social and economic vitality.
- strengthen itself through broad-based, collaborative planning and assessment.
