TACOMA, Wash. – Summer quarter graduates of the Bates Technical College practical nursing program will hold a pinning ceremony on July 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the college’s downtown campus auditorium, 1101 S. Yakima Ave., Tacoma.
“About 20 practical nursing students will graduate at the end of summer quarter,” said Patrick Brown, manager of student programs. “The pinning ceremony is a rite of passage for the graduates. The students are very excited to begin this new chapter in their lives.”
