TACOMA, Wash. – The Board of Trustees of Bates Technical College is now accepting applications for the position of Interim President of the college. The President is the chief executive office of the College and reports to the Board of Trustees.
The duration of the position is approximately 12 to 18 months, and the board may consider the interim president for the permanent position.
The college offers associate of technology degrees, certificates of competency and certificates of training in hundreds of career areas. Additionally, and often as part of a degree program, students prepare for the achievement of industry certification and state licensure.
Bates serves approximately 13,000 students in career education, extended learning opportunities, Technical High School, and Running Start, business and management training, business outreach programs, home and family life programs and apprenticeship training.
