At the successful completion of the program curriculum, students will be able to:

  1. Develop and operate a database.
  2. Manipulating a database and creating tables and data structures.
  3. Develop applications using the procedure builder tool.
  4. Create sequel procedural language blocks of application code that can be shared by multiple forms, reports, and data management applications.
  5. Create a complete forms application while working in a graphical user interface (gui) development environment.
  6. Design multiple forms applications.
  7. Develop a variety of standard and custom reports in a client/server environment.
  8. Identify the server physical and logical architecture.
  9. Implement and plan backup and recovery for the server.
  10. Implementing a net8 configuration on a workstation and server.
  11. Tune a server.
  12. Implement database security.
