The Educator Training Center is available to Bates faculty and staff for training opportunities, teaching resources, and more. Check out the list below, and give us a call if you need assistance.

• Training for professional-technical (PTE) post-secondary certification.

• Training and support for faculty in the use of innovative and effective instructional technology.

• Training and resources for faculty in distance-education methods and course development.

• On-demand customized training for departments and small groups.

• Training for grades 7-12 career and technical education (CTE) teachers, or individuals who want to become teachers, using the Business and Industry Plan 2 route to teacher certification.

• Statewide training via distance learning for educators.

• Two primary technology centers located at South and Downtown Campus.

• A quiet, private work station for staff use, complete with Internet access and printing capabilities.
