If you are over age 21* and would like to obtain your high school diploma, then this pathway might be the right choice for you.
Students attend courses either full or part time on campus, and pay a per-class fee, currently $30 per class. The high school office will loan you the textbooks so you can keep out-of-pocket expenses low.
Graduates from this pathway receive a Washington state high school diploma. To earn your diploma from Bates' high school program, students must complete one high school credit through the college in order to meet the residency requirement.
Also, students must, at a minimum, meet the state of Washington's high school graduation requirements that were current the year the student was scheduled to graduate from high school.
- Must be age 21 or older*
Steps to Enroll:
- Call the Adult High School Completion Advisor at 253.680.7264 to schedule an appointment. Be sure to bring official transcripts with you, if you've previously earned high school credit.
- Complete entrance testing. You will receive a testing schedule at your initial appointment with the advisor, or you can call the Assessment Center at 253.680.7039
- Register for your classes! Schedule a registration meeting with the Adult High School Completion Advisor at 253.680.7264, and bring your test results.
